ENGLISH FOR BANKERS & ACCOUNTANTS

This course is geared toward the professional who has already attained at least an intermediate level of English prior to taking this course. The program is infused with vocabulary and grammar functions which are vital to discussions of profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, sales and profit forecast, ratios, business evaluation, auditors' reports, treasury management and foreign exchange risk, and taxation and dividend regulation. In addition, clients will acquire the necessary language skills to open/close accounts, secure loans, transfer foreign exchange currencies, explain bank statements and overdrafts, and respond to customer concerns. Materials used for the course include authentic television video clips, newspaper and journal articles and company fiscal reports.
